Re: Warhammer World

I'm interested in going as well. I need to find a partner first. I'll be taking Space Wolves as well.

When are you looking for a commitment on going?

There will be a 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize per system, There will also be a best painted army award per system (the armies will be judged individually).
If armies were not painted by yourself it should be made clear at the start, Though not needed an explanation of why your allied forces are working together would be cool and may help for some interesting convertions.

Tickets are £30 which includes a meal, there are 40 spaces per store for Tournaments i imagine 40K will be the busiest so get tickets quick guys loadsa people are signed up already but havnt yet paid it will be Truro, Torquay, Exeter, Plymouth and Barnstaple so should be good.

Hopefully i got it all right on here guys if not i got a pack or to to look through instore, obviously if you get a ticket a tourny pack will be given out :)
Cheers Andy

Re: Warhammer World

okay for guys that are interested sooner rather than later would be a good idea we hav lots of interest, mostly younger people i would prefer to see an older contingent of gamers but we shall see. Its good to see Jon, Chawn and Rob interested and it would be cool if there were more even if it is just for a day out

Re: Warhammer World

OK. Antony and I are planning on going for the 40K event. It's looking like a Space Wolves and Nurgle team up.

If I take a regular Rune Priest in tactical dreadnaught armour, can I use the Njal Stormcaller model to represent him? I don't have enough points to consider fielding Njal, but I'd like to use the model. Is this kosher or not?

Re: Warhammer World

I think its accepted that people use special characters as normal characters sometimes just because the models are cool, so I don't think you'll have any problems. :)

Re: Warhammer World

Thanks, Jonathan.

If I understand these rules, we have to have one HQ and two Troops choices per team not two HQ and four Troops minimum, correct? We basically have a full force org. chart to share with the additional constraints on Heavy, Elites and Fast as I understand it.
