Hlem's Deep rip off. catchy name no?
Right, Gareth and I need one more person to join in a big Fantasy game we've been planning.
The basic idea is evil chaos (thats me) attacking a defended area of good guys (Dwarves, empire, Bratonians etc) and then the goodies get Reinforcments that come and save the day, or not depending on how well i do. The Reinforcements are Gareth.
The general set up is as follows.
Good;
Defenders = 2000 points
Reinforcements - 3000 points
The Defenders and Reinforcements will be able to swap some points around so the reinforcements have some unints on the table to begin with.
Each Good army can only have a Max of one lord each, and combined cannot have a total wizard level of over 10.
The defenders will set up the terain. and we will be using the occupying buildins rules.
The Reinforcements will trun up on a table edge, that needs to be chosen before the batte begins. They will turn up at the Begining of the good guys turn if the roll an 8 on a D6 + the turn number. i.e. roll a 4 on turn 2 = 6, so not enough, roll a 5 on turn 3 = 8 so they turn up. If i'm really unlucky, roll a 6 on turn 2!
When the Reinforcements turn up they may charge on the first turn!
Evil:
4000 points, max of 2 lords and a total wizard level of 10.
Yes this means that the defenders will be out numbered 2 -1 at the start of the game.
Surprise!! - When the good guys reinforcements turn up, the evil units on that flank may get a free reform if they pass a LD test, if they dont, it's flank charges all the way.
The evil side do not know which side the reinforcements will come on.
Victory.
Appart from beatng the crap out of eachother, Chaos win if they get more than half thier total number of units of the opposite table edge. Goodies win by stopping them. Just so you know, it's a bigger board, 4x8 i beleive, and the armies set up areas are going to be a little different.
So if you think that might be good fun plz let me know. Obviously we would like people who know the armies that they are using though the clubs empire will be availible i'm sure.
..now all i have to work out, is do i take a stupid uber army, or one that might acctually work....
P.s. we'll work out a date to do this once we know who wants in. we are planing to get in done in one night so, people who can get there for 6pm would be a bonus. ta
